1. Website Visitors
LaunchBoard Software Inc. dba "Advize" ("Advize") collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Advize's purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Advize's visitors use its Website. From time to time, Advize may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its Website. Advize also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. Advize does not use such information to identify its visitors, however, and does not disclose such information, other than under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information, as described below.
2. Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information
Certain visitors to the Website choose to interact with Advize in ways that require Advize to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that Advize gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who sign up for Advize services to provide an email address. Clients who sign up for Advize's services are asked to provide additional information, including as necessary the personal and financial information required to create accounts and process payments. In each case, Advize collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor's interaction with Advize. Advize does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. Visitors can refuse to supply certain personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Website-related activities. Advize does not collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you believe that a child has provided Advize with personally identifiable information without the consent of his or her parent or guardian, please contact us at support@Advize.io. If Advize becomes aware that a child under age 13 has provided us with personally identifiable information, we will delete such information.
3. Aggregated Statistics
Advize may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to the Website. For instance, Advize may monitor the most popular blogs on the Website to help identify spam. Advize may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, Advize does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.
4. Disclosure and Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information
Advize discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information (collectively â€˜Personal Informationâ€™) to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on Advize's behalf or to provide services available at the Website, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country; by using the Website, you consent to the transfer of such information to them. Advize's Website consists of a suite of services for use by startup companies, business accelerators and incubators, individual entrepreneurs, consultants and educators and their students. Accounts may be created by any of the aforementioned user types. Accounts may be created as one of 3 types: Sponsoring Organization (â€˜Clientâ€™), Invited Mentors (â€˜Mentor) or as an Invited User (â€˜Userâ€™). User accounts exist underneath Client accounts giving Clients full access to all Content created by a User under their account; Advize has no obligation to keep any information entered by a User private or confidential from the Client. Mentor accounts will have near Client level privilege, with the ability to view and comment on multiple User accounts and Content as set by the Client. Clients may choose, at its sole discretion and in accordance with its own Privacy Policies, to make any information entered by a User available to any or all other Users existing under the Client account, or to restrict User information in any manner it chooses. For example, if the Client is a University it may sponsor User accounts for student teams. The Client may then choose to make all information entered by any User available to other student teams or to other instructors and mentors who have accounts under the Client account.
Other than to its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations or as described above, Advize discloses Personal Information only when permitted to do so by law, or when Advize believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of Advize, third parties or the public at large. You should also be aware that if you submit information to "chat rooms," "forums" or "message boards" that information becomes public information, meaning that you lose any privacy rights you might have to that information.
5. Links to Third Party Sites
All non-personally-identifying information Personal Information described above is stored on restricted database servers.
7. Email Opt-out
If we send you information by e-mail concerning new products, promotions, services or other information you have not specifically requested you will have the option to unsubscribe from any such future e-mails.
10. Review and Access
Upon your request, we will provide you with a summary of the information we collect about you. You will have the opportunity to correct, update, modify or delete this information by sending an e-mail to support@Advize.io. Please note that some information may remain in our records after deletion of your account.
